These entities are available to assist with budgeting, developing a marketing plan, and locating sources of funding.
Small business development offices are staffed by consultants and counselors who provide free confidential counseling to assist in the creation of new business as well as work with existing businesses to assist in problem-solving and expansion.
If outside financing is needed, SBDC staff will assist in determining the loan amount required, identifying suitable funding sources and preparing a loan request or application.
