First settled by Virginian settlers in the 1790's, Cattletsburg was officially founded on February 11, 1858. Cattletsburg Kentucky is featured as a town located between the larger population centers of Huntington and Ashland. Taking up 1.3 square miles of area with a population of around 2,000 residents, Cattletsburg has several annual events including Labor Day and Christmas parades which attract visitors from all around the Tri-State Area and beyond.
