Octoberfest, which is usually held the second weekend in the month, is held at Chesapeake Triangle Park. The festival is a promising event for the area that brings residents and former residents to the area to socialize, play games and casually dine together. The event also includes a bike race, parade, live music, and arts and crafts.

Getting out and swinging the golf club is possible during any season and every day of the week at the Chesapeake Golf Range along County Road 1. The golf range features and 18-hole course, champion miniature golf course driving range, Bermuda Grass Tee and covered-heated tees to keep the course functional throughout the year.
