Huntington Dance Theatre functions as a non-profit performing dance company and school in the Tri-State area. They take very seriously the teaching of technique and the experience of performance. HDT welcomes students of all levels and abilities and provides an inclusive environment for classes and performance.

The Huntington Funny Bone Comedy Club & Restaurant works on bringing recognized humorists to the Huntington Tri-State area. In addition to nightly comedy shows and fine food, the Funny Bone is a recognized pioneer in accommodating diverse community needs. From hosting numerous charitable functions, to being a gathering place for various corporate outings and meetings, to holding children's magic and comedy shows, The Funny Bone has offered a full service wait staff and master chef.

Huntington Outdoor Theatre is a regional theater group based in Huntington, WV. The Theatre does outdoor productions at Huntington's Ritter Park Amphitheater. These shows run for a four week period during the month of July. Auditions for shows take place in April of each year. Local actors volunteer their time for the shows with rehearsals beginning in May.

The Huntington Symphony Orchestra has been around since the 1930's in various forms, sometimes disbanding for several years, and sometimes forming as the smaller "chamber" orchestra. Some of the musicians who were with the original Huntington Symphony Orchestra through the 1950s still play today.

Huntington Youth Arts and Music Project (HYAMP) was created to give the community of Huntington and the surrounding areas an alternative form of entertainment by hosting concerts, art shows, skating competitions, parties and anything else people ask for. They strive to provide a safe, fun, alternative to the bars that are in Huntington. Hyamp is an all ages venue for every show, skate competition, art show, etc. They do not serve or allow alcohol/drugs in the building and smoking is confined to the outside. On most nights they have a curfew of 11 p.m. and make sure all shows and other activities end by then.

Marshall Artists Series

The Big Sandy Superstore Arena is a city-owned 9,000-seat multi-purpose large venue that now hosts concerts, ceremonies, various sports and recreation activities.

The Mountaineer Opry House in Milton, WV, is the local hot spot for Bluegrass Music in the Huntington/Charleston area.

The Paramount Arts Center is a restored movie theater operated by a nonprofit organization as a venue for music, dance, and other performing arts. It hosts symphonies, plays, ballets, country music concerts and other productions.
