The Huntington West Virginia Housing Authority provides programs and services to individuals and families that are interested in our affordable housing programs. Among the services they offer are public housing communities, rental subsidy programs, homeownership counseling, resident support services, senior services, youth programs, and others.

Woodlands Retirement Community is a very well kept secret, comfortably nestled in the hills of western West Virginia. Setting majestically atop 170 acres of rolling hills, Woodlands has come to be lovingly referred to as "our castle on the hill". This Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offers great views, HealthCare, fishing ponds, walking trails, great activities, great community, transportation, meals.....and the list goes on. Woodlands offers independent apartment (and cottage) living, as well as personal and nursing care. The Wyngate Assisted Living Community has nurses and resident assistants on duty 24 hours a day to provide healthcare and personal assistance with such things as bathing, dressing and medication administration, all provided in a homelike environment. The cottages are designed for individuals who want security and maintenance free living with some services. This gives you more time to do what's really enjoyable.
